I've been meaning to stop by this place for a while in the hopes that it was still here, and it is! If you are going South on 101 towards San Francisco, it's just off the Marinwood exit. At the end of the exit ramp get into the left lane. Look for the gas station on the corner and turn left. You'll see Marinwood Market on you left behind the trees.. They've got it all. Its clean, bright, and cheerful. Friendly staff and friendly customers. I bought some PERO (last box), some potatoes, and a copy of my favorite magazine EatWell. If you get stuck in commuter traffic give yourself a break.
Do not come here for the handmade breakfast burritos!! DO NOT!! They are excellent and sell out WAAAAAAY too fast!! The Deli department is well stocked and the meat department has a great variety. I was speaking with a friend who used to work in a butchers shop, she said the meat here was amazing, I trust her judgement on this. They have a wonderful assortment of overseas goodies, treats from the UK which are hard to come by elsewhere. I would have to say the bakery aspect of this store is minimal, but they only have so much space. I shop here regularly and love the staff, they are genuinely friendly and helpful
I love this place. Every time I come back from San Francisco I stop here to get a delicious, humongous, and insanely well priced sandwich. The staff is always so friendly and they really do sling out some killer food. They have a table you can bring outside to sit and enjoy the sun with your meal. Not much else to say besides this place makes me feel happy and safe. Marinwood market, you freaking rock! PS. Thanks for the horseradish sauce!
Great sandwiches & exceptionally friendly & accommodating sandwich maestros, in fact, a very nice store all around, with a solid selection of local & deluxe items... definitely worth the trip.
Great neighborhood market for the forgotten grocery item. Wouldn't do all of my grocery shopping here but it's a nice place to run in and grab a couple of items in a pinch. Side note, Their deli is decent with really good made to order sandwiches. I like to call my order in ahead of time so it's ready when I get there.
Best gluten free sandwich in the area, perhaps in all of Northern Marin!! I needed a quick bite before facilitating a training, and the bonus to the yummy and generous sandwich is the diversity of the staff. Sweet surprise! Price point was also perfect for my budget, I really appreciate that. As I hope to bring more trainings to Marin in coming months, I'll definitely be back!
Great market with excellent produce, a good selection of meat, poultry and seafood. If they don't have what you are looking for ask and they very well might stock it. Great British selection so there you go. The deli is awesome as is the beer and wine selection. Tons of vegetarian and vegan items pre-made and frozen Living in Marinwood this place is convenient and I have friends that don't live here that prefer to come here for the great selection. The people who work here and the owners are super helpful. Overall a great market
